“Services fit for the future” informal focus groups

The Welsh Government have commissioned 8 public engagement sessions across Wales around the Services Fit For The Future White Paper consultation. They are being coordinated by Noreen Blanluet and led by Paul Stepczak, Leanne Teichner and Bethan Webber of Communities Connected.

A message from Noreen follows: A few of the events are still low on participant numbers and we would really appreciate the support of the Co-production Network for Wales in circulating to your various networks and contacts in the Carmarthen, Brecon and Welshpool regions. (We are particularly keen to hear from members of the public and community groups who may not be the usual respondents to Government consultations.)

We need your input! Come and have a conversation which will help shape the laws on health and social care services in Wales, including the Social Services and Wellbeing Act. Welsh Government are seeking the lived experience and opinions of the public on a number of proposed changes to the law. You don’t need any prior knowledge of the topic, the session will be an informal discussion. The background information and context will be provided by our friendly facilitator Bethan Webber. We’re inviting 15 to 20 people aged 14 or over, of all abilities, to take part. (Similar events are happening all over Wales.)
